How Radford attracts people????????

How Radford attracts people???? This is a very good question to ask.  The biggest reason people are attracted to Radford is because of Radford University. This is one of the biggest reasons that Radford had so many people in it. Since, there are students all around Radford this means that the night life is crazy. With the night life being so much fun this attracts more college students or other young adults. Radford University also has many events such as concerts like Brantley Gilbert, Mac Miller, and Corey Smith. This also attracts people from other places close to Radford. I mean do not get me wrong there are other events that go on outside of Radford University like festivals. The Highlanders is big festival that brings people to Radford. Another, thing that attracts people to Radford is its location. Radford is all really pretty place because of the rolling hills and all the wide open land that creates pretty views for people to site see.

Ways to attract more people to Radford is to hold more events such as festivals and concerts, but at other locations other than at the university. They could have them outside at parks so, they could have more people at the events. Also, with having these events outside it would give people a better chance to see the scenery that Radford has to offer. They could also have more restaurants to eat at. I say they could have more restaurants because I think that Radford does not have anywhere really nice to eat and their opinions are very slim.

Downtown Radford, Virginia is a very small and rural area. So, as you can guess there are not too many businesses in the area.  Even, though there are not many businesses the ones that Radford has to offer is very unique.  These businesses are unique because many of the businesses are not large franchises.  A good example of some of the small food businesses is Café 24, River City Grill, and Crumb & Get It. These are just some of the food choices that there is in downtown Radford, Virginia.  Both Café 24 and River City Grill are restaurants that offer a variety of food. Like River City Grill offers breakfast at all times during the day. Crumb & Get It, is a newly opened cookie store in Radford. By the way theirs cookies are super good and it has really good service. This is a good example of a place to grab a homemade sweet. There is other business in the downtown Radford area that is not food. One place being the area and office supplies store called Taylor’s. Even though, the store is not very big, it has most of the supplies that most interior design majors would need.  Also in the downtown Radford there is also a small amount of night life for the college students. The two main night life business are Sharkey’s and Riley’s. Yes, both these places are restaurants and bar. So, the night life is mostly for the people that are 21 and up.  In conclusion downtown Radford does have a good number a business. But if you’re from a big city you will think there is nothing to do.  But being such a rural area I think it does pretty good for itself.
